Episode 30: Andy is a co-founder of Ratefilter.ca, as well as a mortgage broker with MortgagePal. Andy along with his co-founder Alan are in the process of building a digital marketplace for Canadian mortgage rates. Having spent close to the last 10 years brokering in the competitive online mortgage space, Andy teamed up with Alan to create what they hope to be the Expedia of mortgage rates in Canada.
Prior to mortgages, Andy traded his own personal account in the Crude oil futures market. Andy’s love of macro economics and chart patterns plays into the depth of Andy’s market analysis. Andy lives in Vancouver BC, with his wife Janelyn 14yr old weiner dog Deeno.
